Girl rescued from ‘threatening’ father in Valencia

A 38-YEAR-OLD Bolivian man has been arrested after his daughter called the police for help after apparently being threatened with rape.

The 14-year-old girl reportedly scaled onto her fourth floor balcony in an apartment block in the centre of Valencia and cried out for help, claiming her father was trying to rape her.

She clung onto the guide brackets that held up the washing line as she shouted to passers by below.

Neighbours of the family tried to break down the apartment door to lynch the man but it was heavily locked.

The police arrived shortly after and arrested father while the girl was taken into custody for routine questioning.
