X FACTOR favourite Danny Tetley has been arrested after allegedly asking a child to send him inappropriate images.

Sources report that the singer, popular on the Benidorm circuit, handed himself in voluntarily to the police in Bradford, UK, after they called his mother asking of his whereabouts.

After his arrest this summer, he has been released on bail three times while police investigate the case further.

It is also reported that he has been asked to surrender his mobile phone as part of the investigation.

When contacted for a statement, the West Yorkshire Police stated that “proceedings are active”, according to the Sun newspaper in the UK.

Danny, 37, who has been open about his past in the media, has been working in Benidorm performing two shows a night.

He insists he is not guilty and, according to The Sun, claims that he “has been set up”.
