British teen allegedly raped in Marbella hotel

A 19-year-old- British woman has allegedly been raped in a luxury Marbella hotel. 

Police have arrested a British man, who has since been released on bail. 

It is thought the victim and a friend had been out for the night when they met two men and they all went back to a room. 

It is alleged that when the young woman went to the bathroom, a man followed her, closed the door then sexual assaulted her. It has been reported that the woman then went to a health centre and explained what had happened, saying she was too drunk to have cried out for help. 

Police were called in who launched an investigation. They identified a suspect who has been released with charges and is under investigation for an alleged crime of sexual assault.
