THE BRAND NEW Maravilla Palace hotel is nearing it’s final stages of construction in the picturesque old town of Estepona.

The hotel opened its doors to selected guests last week, including mayor of the town José María García Urbano, who were given the opportunity see first hand the progress of the €15million project.

The new hotel is built on a plot of about 800 square meters and is situated on the corner of Calle Real, Calle Carmen Sevilla and the Plaza de las Flores. It will consist of 49 luxury rooms and will have a stunning view of both the town and the Mediterranean coastline.

The talking point of the hotel though is the plan to have its own micro brewery and supply craft ales to its artisan bars and restaurants.

The hotel is the brainchild of German businessman Richard Eller, owner of the company Grupo Maravilla 1882 and is part of the “Estepona Garden of the Costa del Sol” project which plans to rejuvenate the Estepona old town.
