A 63-YEAR-OLD man has died after being pulled from the sea off a beach near Fuengirola this morning (Tuesday), emergency services sources have said.
The 112 emergency services line said personnel were sent to the Carvajal beach after several witnesses alerted them to a man struggling in the water at around 11am.
Local and National Police officers along with those from the Guardia Civil and medical personnel were sent to the beach.
Personnel attempted to revive the 63-year-old but he was declared dead at the scene. The National Police have launched an investigation which is ongoing.
