A British man has been arrested on suspicion of rape in the popular party resort of Magaluf.
The alleged incident occurred at a hotel in the Punta Ballena area close to the party strip on Friday.
According to local reports the alleged attacker and victim tried to return to the hotel where the woman was staying but were turned away by reception.
They then went back to the hostel where the man was staying and he reportedly forced her to have sex.
The suspect was arrested shortly after the woman made a police report.
Details of the case are still scarce at the moment and both parties and the hotels involved have not yet been named by police.
This latest report comes after a spate of reported attacks and violence in the Mallorcan party capital.
