THERE is still time to enjoy the feria of Los Boliches (Fuengirola, Malaga).
It is held in honour of Virgen del Carmen, the Patron Saint of fishermen and sailors. There are plenty of events at the fair ground including dance and music performances.

Today (Monday, July 15) is children’s day with all rides at the fairground half price.
The fair ends tomorrow with a procession where a throne with the statue of the Virgin is carried by sailors through Los Boliches and then into the sea. There will be a fireworks display at the beach.

Tomorrow is a local holiday, so many shops and banks may be closed (or close early) in the town, although it will be business as usual in neighbouring municipalities.
