Yacht crew find body floating in Ibiza harbour

GUARDIA Civil are trying to identify the body of a woman that was recovered from the sea by a yacht.

The crew sailed into Santa Eulalia port in Ibiza yesterday at about 11pm (Tuesday July 9) after making their grim discovery.

Officers of the judicial police of the Guardia Civil met them to investigate the case.

The body had been found floating in the sea about 200 metres outside the harbour entrance.

The young woman was wearing a bathing suit and the investigation is trying to clarify the circumstances of her death.

A post mortem examination is being carried out.
