A GUARDIA Civil investigation into a gender violence case where the aggressor threatened the victim with a gun has led to the discovery of arms and an indoor marijuana plantation in Zurgena, Almeria.
When officers carried out an inspection of the home shared with the victim, they found a loaded pistol and a shotgun, as well as magazines and ammunition. There were no serial numbers on the weapons and the 61-year old did not have a gun licence.
Officers also found two bags of marijuana, precision scales and a machine and materials for pressing and packaging the drug. Finally, when they took a look outside they came across a hut in which there were 144 marijuana plants and an illegal electricity connection.
Officers arrested J.F.L.C. for illegal possession of arms, a crime against public health and for defrauding the power supply.
