Almeria's beaches ranked among the prettiest in Spain

THREE of Almeria’s beaches are ranked among the 25 prettiest in the whole country.
Readers of the El Pais newspaper ‘El Viajero’ travel supplement put Los Muertos beach in Carboneras in fifth place in an online survey in which they could choose their favourites from among 200 options.
The Monsul and Genoveses beaches in the Cabo de Gata natural park came in at eighth and ninth positions respectively.
Other provincial beaches listed among the 200 prettiest beach possibilities were Los Cocedores and Cuatro Calas in Pulpi, and Cala Enmedio, San Pedro and Playazo de Rodalquilar in Nijar.
