Four Brits stabbed in Magaluf street brawl after phones and wallets ‘are stolen’

FOUR British tourists have been stabbed during an early morning street fight after confronting a suspected thief in Magaluf.

The brawl is said to have happened at around 4.15am this morning in the Punta Ballena area between the victims and another Brit, who has been arrested.

Local reports said the four men claimed the Brit detainee had taken their mobile phones and wallets along with the two African street sellers he was working with.

A violent clash broke out and ended with one of the victims chasing the alleged attacker and restraining him before the Guardia Civil and Local Police arrived.

Video footage has emerged of the suspect being led away in handcuffs, showing bloody scenes of a cordoned off area next to a lap dance bar and tattoo parlour.

A Guardia Civil source confirmed a British 25-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of stabbing four people, but was not aware of the involvement of any street sellers.

The victims were taken to hospital and their injuries are said to be ‘non-serious’.

The suspect, who also required medical attention, is expected to appear in court within the next three days.
