LA LIGA side Real Madrid have signalled their intentions to sign Brazilian forward Neymar after the 27-year-old made his feelings clear that his future at French side Paris Saint Germain is up in the air.
The Spanish side will have to fight off rivals Barcelona as they have also shown strong interest in signing Neymar over the summer.
The signing won’t be a straight forward one though as the total cost involved in bringing the player to the capital could reach over €500 million.
He joined PSG in 2017 for a record breaking €222 million, so the estimated figure for any interested buyer will be much higher. On top of that his expected astronomical yearly salary for at least a two year contract the fees could easily reach half a billion euros.
Such figures are unprecedented even in today’s football world and if a deal is agreed, it could shake up the international transfer market forever.
