Teenagers arrested for threatening 14-year-old with sticks and knives in Valencia

AN 18-year-old and three younger girls have been arrested in connection with making serious threats to a classmate over the attentions of a boy.

The incident allegedly happened at the victim’s home in Valencia, when the four girls visited the home of the 14-year-old.

They were reportedly armed with sticks and knives and attempted to break the glass of the girl’s front door.

The motive for the threats is said to have been the victim’s friendship with a boy at the same school as all of the girls.

After a short investigation the girls were identified and arrested by the National Police. They were later released by the Children’s Prosecutor’s Office but have been advised that they will be required to appear in court when they are summoned.
