Visitors flock from around the world to see the Iberian peninsulas only publicly accessed volcano.
The volcano museum Cerro Gordo de Granátula de Calatrava has received nearly 30,000 visitors in the past three years, bringing a fantastic income to the Castilla la Mancha area.
The popular tourist attraction attracts around 10,000 visitors per year who come from all over the world to see the geological wonder.
The mayor of Granátula, Félix Herrera is pleased with the progress that the tourist attraction has made
“This tourist resource has managed to attract a varied and considerable public to the town, it has also become a place that they visit as a group or as a family many people with disabilities thanks to the museum being prepared so that this group can touch, see and experience its interior “.
