NATIONAL POLICE officers on the Costa Blanca are tracing a suspect in connection with the slitting of a 36-year-old pregnant woman’s throat in Xativa.
Police launched the search for Romanian national Isabell Elena Raducanu’s killer after her partner found her body after he returned home from work on Tuesday at around 4pm. She was six months pregnant at the time of her death, according to police sources.

Juan Carlos Fulgencio, acting government representative in the Valencia Region, said police were processing leads in the case and added the killing is a suspected crime of passion.
Rosa Moreno Fernandez, one of Raducanu’s neighbours, reportedly told police she heard an argument in the 36-year-old’s home around an hour before her body was found.
Xativa declared a day of mourning yesterday (Wednesday) and the town’s council has condemned the killing.
