Three Spanish men, aged between 24 and 26-years-old have been arrested in Gibraltar after a high speed boat chase.
The Maritime Section of the Royal Police of Gibraltar received a tip off from the Gibraltar police of a speeding vessel sailing dangerously.
When intercepted the men were identified as residents of Algeciras and Jerez.
They are accused of reckless navigation, obstruction of the police and importation and possession of a prohibited substance after a small amount of cannabis resin was found.
They are due to appear today (Tuesday 11) in front of the Court of Magistrates to discover their sentence.
