THE remains of the late comedian Freddie Starr have arrived in Britain following the British star’s death on the Costa del Sol.
Michael Fogg, the Sheffield-based funeral director who offered to repatriate and bury the body for free, said Starr’s remains had now successfully arrived in the country.
“We have repatriated Freddie Starr from Spain to Michael Fogg Family Funeral Directors in Sheffield.
“We as a family would like to thank each and every one of you who have posted messages on our Facebook page,” the director said on Facebook.
It follows Starr’s death at his Mijas home earlier this month from coronary heart disease at the age of 76.
