British rugby star named as victim of third floor Ibiza airport plunge

THE young Briton seriously injured after falling from the third floor of an Ibiza airport car park has been named as 23-year-old Jansin Turgut.

The former player for the Salford Red Devils Rugby Club is said to be in a ‘very serious condition,’ after falling at around 3am.

Turgut had reportedly lost his place at the club in April after an investigation into his conduct, and for, ‘allegedly violating the club’s rules.’

Officers from the Guardia Civil are now investigating how the incident took place, after several witnesses reported seeing the man fall.

Turgut was said to have been on the island for several days’ vacation.
