A MAN is in hospital in a critical condition after he was mauled by four dogs on an industrial estate near Malaga City this morning (Sunday May 19).
Emergency services said a witness called them shortly after the attack in the Santa Teresa industrial estate at about 2am.
The witness told them he had seen the man lying on the floor while the dogs bit him.
Local Police officers were sent to the scene and had to fire a warning shot to scare the dogs away.
Medical personnel took the man, who was left with serious leg and chest injuries, to Malaga City’s Virgen de la Victoria Hospital.
He was operated on and remains in intensive care. Doctors there said they are waiting for test results to determine the full extent of his injuries and condition.
