ESSENTIAL GUIDE: Advice for football fans heading to Spain ahead of Champions League Final

ADVICE for football fans travelling to Spain for the UEFA Champions League final on June 1 has today been released by the British Embassy Madrid and British Consulate General Madrid.

Liverpool FC and Tottenham Hotspur will contest European football’s top prize at the 68,000-capacity Estadio Metropolitano in Madrid, where fans will share 33,226 tickets for the final.

The match kicks off at 9pm, and to ensure all travelling supporters make it on time and enjoy their visit, a detailed travel advice document has been put together and can be viewed online at: https://www.gov.uk/government/news/liverpool-fc-vs-tottenham-hotspur-fc-travel-advice

It includes information relating to passports, getting to the stadium, what to do on arrival, Fan Zone activities as well as well as where to watch the match without a ticket and general tips when travelling overseas.
