COSTA STABBING: Man knifed at gym after vicious row in southern Spain

A MAN was arrested yesterday (Thursday) inside a fitness centre in the Pedregalejo, Malaga, for stabbing another male after a discussion became heated.

The events started at around 12:30pm outside the gym where one of the men, who was drinking, began to argue with another individual.

The first man allegedly attacked the second with a helmet, who left the scene to return minutes later with a large knife.

According to witnesses, the pair started throwing punches and gradually entered the fitness centre where the armed individual presumably stabbed the victim.

The incident reportedly caused panic among workers and members of the gym.

The National Police arrived at the scene in a short space of time and arrested the aggressor.

The victim has been transferred to a medical centre with injuries but is out of danger, said the police.
