A BRITISH tourist who was reported missing on Saturday morning was rescued yesterday (Sunday) from the La Viñuela reservoir in Malaga.
The woman, of around 30 years of age, was found safe but presented symptoms of hypothermia.
She had reportedly disappeared after having left her hotel, located near the reservoir, in the early morning on Saturday 4.
After worried family members alerted the Guardia Civil, a search was activated in a bid to locate the woman.
She was found conscious in the water and treated by medical teams on site, before being transferred to the Regional Hospital of Axarquia, in Velez-Malaga.
