PROSECUTORS have filed a complaint against a professor at the University of Granada for alleged sexual harassment.
After collecting statements from seven students, the Granada Provincial Prosecutor decided to pursue a case against the teacher at the Faculty of Educational Sciences.
According to Spanish media, after the first complaint from a student came forward, another five women also reported the professor.
Hundreds of students also participated in a rally at the Faculty of Educational Sciences demanding changes to the university’s policy for dealing with harassment cases. A group of students also held a meeting the university’s rector, Pilar Aranda, and the Vice Chancellor of Students to express their views.
