Life is like a box of chocolates…

CHOCOLATES: You never know what you're gonna get.

TOM HANKS once said the following famous words in the movie Forrest Gump ‘Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get.’

And if you have seen this movie like millions of other people did, you can confirm that the way he said this playing the role of Forrest Gump, was so pure, so honest, so wonderful and so very truthful.

Life ‘is’ like a box of chocolates and indeed we never know what we will find on our path. We all know this. We have all experienced it and keep on experiencing this.

Life is all about emotions and thoughts and we as humans always have the choice to look at what comes out that box of chocolates, in a positive way or a less positive way. We decide in a split second if we like the praline or not.

Most of the times the way we react is to do with our previous life lessons. Have we learned from them or not? Can we move on or not? Do we still have certain fears or not? Do we just go for the next chocolate without hesitation or do we have some doubts?

My advice is just try to love all kinds of pralines and let new adventures fulfill your life. It makes life sweet as honey – time after time. Everyone can do this. It has to do with your mindset.

Once you understand that you are in control of your mindset and no one else, you decide how sweet your honey will be.

Of course there are rainy days on our journey and even at these moments we can decide to use our umbrella or to dance in the rain. But in both ways try loving the rain.

The way we look at everything in life is key. If we are willing to change our look in difficult times we have the sweetest honey ever.

And for those who are not so into honey, you can always stick to the chocolates.

So, two questions – how sweet is your honey today? How will your next chocolate taste?
