VIDEO footage has surfaced of an aircraft’s engine trouble during take-off in Barcelona.
The Arkia flight IZ272, destined for Tel Aviv, was forced to return around ten minutes after its departure when the left engine appears to have caught fire.
The passengers reportedly experienced tremors and heard the sound of an explosion during the take-off on April 14.
No injuries have been reported and the plane managed to return safely to Barcelona.
The aircraft had successfully operated a flight from Bangkok to Ben Gurion airport before the incident.
The plane belongs to an Italian company Neos.
