SPAIN’S deputy prime minister has said the the country is one of the safest in the world after police arrested a suspect in connection with an alleged Sevilla City terror attack plot.
Carmen Calvo said in a media statement Spain was capable of preventing and stopping risky situations.
Police officers and security officials behave ‘more than professionally’, the deputy prime minister added.
Calvo’s comments come after a Moroccan man was arrested in connection with the alleged attack in Sevilla City. The arrest followed a joint probe between Spanish and Moroccan authorities.
