A 45-YEAR old Swedish man is under arrest in Gran Canaria in connection with the death of his wife.
Spanish media reported the Guardia Civil found the body of the 42-year old woman, also Swedish, in the couple’s apartment in Mogan in Gran Canaria on Thursday morning after her husband called the emergency services. According to reports her body showed signs she had been beaten.
On Saturday a court ruled the 45-year old man should be held in custody.
