TWO Spanish airports have been named among the top 50 in the world in an annual ranking.
The World Airport Awards 2019 placed Madrid’s Adolfo Suarez-Barajas 35th in the ranking, eight places higher than last year. Barcelona’s Josep Tarradellas-El Prat came 43rd, down one place compared to 2018.
The ranking, decided on the results of surveys of more than 13.5 million passengers worldwide, placed Singapore’s Changi airport first for the seventh consecutive year.
