A dangerous goods vehicle carrying 21,000 litres of diesel and 13,000 litres of petrol was involved in an accident early on Saturday morning on the AP-7 motorway near Catral. Due to losing some of its cargo as it spilt into the road, a stretch of the AP-7 around Kilometre 735 was closed for 10 hours. A total of eight fire-brigade units were sent to the scene of the accident along with the Forestry Unit from Tibi because of the high risk of fire.
