ENTREPRENEURS: Successful businesswomen Kathleen and Glenda want to share their knowledge and experience.

IT’S all about leaving a legacy – this is the message from Glenda Smithson.

She said: “We want people to think about what they want their legacy to be. In other words what difference a person can make and how they can leave a mark in a positive way.”

“This could be in all sorts of ways – maybe for their family, their business or charities. The important thing is to have the passion to make a difference.”

Glenda explained that while The Best You Legacy Club is a networking organisation, it is far more than that. “It is for like-minded people to come together to help each other make the time to ask the questions you need to in order to leave a legacy.”

Meetings will be held at the Restaurante Posidonia Banus once a month and will last around two hours.

They will be split into three distinct parts:

In the first part members will sit in groups of four or five to find out who needs help – probably on a business level – and to brainstorm how to provide it. The idea is to provide helpd, advice and support

The second part focuses on the legacy aspect of the club and asks how people want to develop and grow, and how the group can aid them in their quest.

It is also the time when people can ask questions – perhaps on how to grow a portfolio or with queries about inheritance tax or a will for example. The group will then put in place an action plan to help where needed.

Thirdly will be inspirational speakers who will empower and help the group as a whole.
