SHOCK: Guardia Civil officer shoots himself in head at nursing home in Spain

A 48-year-old Guardia Civil officer died on today (Tuesday) after shooting himself in the head at his wife’s workplace in Ourense.

The officer arrived at the San Jose nursing home at around 8.40am requesting to speak with his wife.

The man reportedly when to the area where she was stationed and shot himself in the head.

Emergency services were then contacted for medical assistance.

According to the National Police, the man was transferred to the Complexo Hospilatario Universitario in Ourense, where he arrived in a severe condition that resulted in his passing.
