GIVING: Representatives of cancer charities and volunteers met up at the New Shop for aa cheque presentation.
A TOTAL of €27,0000 has been handed over to good causes by Calanova Cancer Care’s New Charity Shop in San Agustin.
Javier Cortes President of the AECC (Spanish Association of Cancer Care) in the Baleares and Jaime Coll President of the Baleares ASPANOB (Children and their Parents with Cancer) were invited to the shop to be presented with a cheque for €12,000 each by Angela McGrath together with some of the volunteers.
A few days later DIME (Association for Palliative Care) was presented with a cheque for €3,000 by Angela.
The shop at 354 Ave Joan Miro Palma presently has a sale on as they prepare for summer stock.
