A BRITISH expatriate has spoken to the Euro Weekly News of her concern over graffiti about drugs on several walls in La Cala de Mijas, including at a children’s playground.
Bridget Smith, who lives in La Cala Hills, said she found the spraying of the words ‘La Droga Hills’ (The Drug Hills) in English in the town “alarming”.
“It was written last week and the community painted over it and now it’s been done again,” Ms Smith said.
“They have even sprayed it on the wall of a kid’s playground. There are children living here,” she added.
The graffiti has appeared on at least three walls in the town. It is unclear who is responsible or what the significance of the phrase is other than its overt drug references.
