VIDEO: Driver torches school bus telling 51 kidnapped children ‘no-one is getting out alive’

POLICE have arrested a 47-year-old Senegalese man after he poured petrol on a school bus carrying 51 pupils and lit it.

The shocking incident happened in the Milan province of Italy when the man was ferrying the schoolchildren from a sporting event.

He reportedly told the pupils he was going to to take them to Linate Airport.

A youngster on board the bus called his parents who alerted police who tracked it down on a motorway.

The driver pulled over after spotting the authorities and set fire to the bus while the children were still on board threatening them: “No one is going to get out of here alive.”

Police officers helped rescue the children by smashing the back windows of the bus. Twelve of the pupils were taken to hospital suffering from minor burns and smoke inhalation.

The man was arrested at the scene by police.

Italian Interior Minister Matteo Salvini confirmed: “A Senegalese man with Italian citizenship driving a school bus hijacked the vehicle and finally set it on fire.
