TWELVE people have been affected by smoke inhalation after a fire broke at an apartment on Spain’s Costa del Sol last night (Tuesday).
Emergency services said that the ten injured persons, that included three children, were transferred to hospital for treatment.
The 112 Andalucia emergency control centre said that they received the first calls about the blaze in Mijas just before 6 pm.
Local Police evacuated the building.
The casualties who needed medical treatment were rushed to the Costa del Sol Hospital in Marbella and the Hospital Clinico in Malaga.
