WATCH: Bloody fight breaks out on Ryanair flight from Glasgow to Spain’s Canary Islands

PASSENGERS on a Ryanair flight from Glasgow Prestwick Airport to Tenerife South today say that man had his nose ‘bitten off’ after a mid-air brawl.

The man was involved in a fight after the plane took off from Scotland bound for the Spanish holiday resort in the Canary Islands at 6.10am.

A 30-second video posted to social media shows cabin crew bravely stepping in to try and break up the scrap between two men, before they lead one passenger with a bloody face down the aircraft aisle.

A photograph posted to Twitter later appeared to show blood on overhead luggage bins inside the Ryanair aircraft.

A spokesperson for Ryanair said: “The crew of this flight from Glasgow Prestwick to Tenerife requested police assistance upon arrival after two passengers became disruptive in-flight.

“The aircraft landed normally and police removed and detained two individuals.

“We will not tolerate unruly or disruptive behaviour at any time and the safety and comfort of our customers, crew and aircraft is our number one priority. This is now a matter for local police.”
