INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME 2019 – Euro Weekly News

Recently graduated or still studying and looking for valuable work experience? Look no further.

Euro Weekly News is looking for five candidates for our three-month paid Internship Programme on the Costa del Sol.

We are the biggest English language newspaper abroad and have a great team of experts looking for a fresh, young, and innovative group of interns.

The internship will take place at our Fuengirola office and we are accepting CV’s now!

Job descriptions:

We need one intern for each of these departments – please specify which position you are applying for when sending your CV.

EDITORIAL TEAM:

The ideal candidate for the editorial team must have excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, and a good nose for news.

Attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines and under pressure are vital, together with a good working knowledge of computers.

Self-motivation and the capacity to use your own initiative are extremely important attributes, along with organisational skills.

Knowledge of the Spanish language would be an advantage.

DESIGN TEAM:

Must be a tech-savvy person with full knowledge of the Adobe package.

Also needs design and layout skills.

Must have a good level of Spanish and English.

SOCIAL MEDIA TEAM:

The team is looking for a tech-savvy intern that is able to multitask and has knowledge of how to manage social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.

Experience with WordPress is also an advantage.

Needs to have good communication and networking skills.

Able to look out for breaking news.

Good English writing skills (Spanish language will also be valued).

MARKETING TEAM:

We are looking for a dynamic, ambitious, enthusiastic and outgoing intern with a ‘can-do approach to work’ and a passion for sales.   

Bi-lingual candidates are preferred.

ADVERT DEPARTMENT:

You must be confident, organised, proactive, hardworking with excellent communication, customer services, administration and multi-tasking skills.

A calm and strategic problem solver who is good under pressure with a high level of energy and a good sense of humour!

Spanish language an advantage but not essential.
