TRAFFIC CHAOS has been caused after a lorry overturned on a section of the A-7 coast road in southern Spain this afternoon (Friday).
The carriageway in the direction of Fuengirola, just past La Cala de Mijas (Malaga), was totally blocked as firefighters struggled to free the driver who was trapped in the cab.
The incident occurred at 1.30pm today (Friday) at kilometre 201, with about six kilometres of tailbacks reported at 2.45pm.
Emergency services have warned drivers to be careful in the area while workers attempt to clear and reopen the road.
