A PATIENT has been injured while in a hospital in Spain after part of the ceiling in an emergency room crashed down on him.
The man, a patient at the University of Badajoz Hospital, was injured in the incident and a companion also received ‘very minor’ injuries.
The Junta de Extremadura said that the observation room was immediately evacuated and closed adding that first investigations “do not reveal any external signs of the cause” and notes that “there are no leaks or movement of air conditioning equipment located on the roof.”
