A sad farewell to Ann Rudkin

WE would like to send our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Ann Rudkin, who has passed away suddenly.

Ann, whose warm character and lively personality made her an extremely popular member of the Euro Weekly News family, worked with us in our previous offices in Arroyo de la Miel.

In recent years Ann carved out a career teaching English as a foreign language, and was well known around Fuengirola amongst the expat community.

She passed away unexpectedly while travelling back from a dream holiday in the Caribbean. The 63-year-old leaves behind a son, Scott and two grandchildren, Joshua and Cameron.

A funeral will be held at the Cerros de Aguila cemetery/crematorium on Monday, March 11 at 4.30pm. Scott has asked for donations to be made to charity rather than flowers.
