POLICE have arrested a man on suspicion of sexually assaulting five teenage girls at an indoor swimming pool in Lloreta.
The first alleged incident occurred last week when a 15-year-old claims a man swimming in the same lane touched her intimate parts.
Initially she did not tell her parents, but when it happened again, she told her father who contacted Lloseta police.
Within days of investigating, officers spoke to a further four young girls, aged between 15 and 17, who filed similar complaints.
A police source said that on each occasion, the suspect took advantage of the fact the pool was busy, forcing swimmers to share lanes, giving him the chance to brush against females and allegedly touch them.
The possibility of further victims has not been ruled out and the investigation is ongoing.
The alleged offender is said to live in Lloseta.
