TEMPERATURES can be expected to remain between five and 10 degrees above the average for this time of year.

Spain’s Met Office has predicted dry and stable weather for this weekend throughout most of the peninsula due to the persistent European anticyclone.

In general, temperatures for the upcoming days can be expected to remain similar to those of this past week, with sunny and dry weather.

According to AEMET’s forecast, maximum temperatures of 30 degrees could be reached in areas in the Valencian Community and Aragon.

However, western Galicia and eastern Cantabria may see some showers that could also reach Asturias and Leon.

Day temperatures are expected to see a slight drop in Mediterranean areas and in Andalucia.

The Iberian Mountain range, the Pyrenees and the northern plateau are set to experience some frosts.

Although Galicia can expect to receive some winds, the rest of the peninsula has been cleared.

Predictions for next week show that temperatures will start to noticeably oscillate, given way to weather peaks and drops as cooler air, originating from the Atlantic, will enter the peninsula.
