AXARQUIA police were forced to intervene after a car ended up in a ditch on Velez-Malaga’s Avenida Juan Carlos I.
The vehicle’s two occupants were taken to hospital, while members of the fire service, Local Police and National Police worked to secure the vehicle and help traffic to flow normally.
The major road where the incident took place connects Velez-Malaga town with the coast and follows the town’s now-defunct tram line.
