Hospitality and Tourism Careers Fair at CLC World Resorts & Hotels

CLC World Resorts & Hotels

ON March 15, CLC World Resorts & Hotels, in collaboration with the Diputación Provincial de Málaga, will hold their inaugural Hospitality and Tourism Careers Fair at one of its Mijas resorts, Club La Costa World.

More than 200 positions will be available, ranging from customer-facing departments such as resort management and customer services to behind-the-scenes positions in IT and Finance.

The announcement was made jointly by Ana Mata, Vice-President and Deputy of Equality and Social Innovation, Juan Miguel Marcos, Human Resources Director at CLC World Resorts & Hotels (CLC World) and Josefa García, Vice Dean of Internships and International Cooperation at the Faculty of Tourism, UMA.

Mata pointed out that it is essential to support this type of event, a pioneer in this field. It provides great opportunities for work and professional development, especially for the young people of the province who will be able to address any concerns they may have and deliver their candidacies directly to the company’s Human Resources professionals. “CLC World is a company that cares about its employees, which means that it is socially responsible.

Juan Miguel Marcos informed those present that from 10am to 2pm on March 15, CLC World’s Human Resources representatives will be available in the Solvillas building of Club La Costa World resort to collect resumés and offer advice and information. “The operational headquarters of the company, which is located in Mijas Costa, has more than 800 employees throughout the year, reaching 1,000 in high season, with an average length of employment of 10 years.”

Josefa García stressed that CLC World is considered the leading employer on the Costa del Sol, supporting sustainable tourism. “In addition, the company offers a stable work environment, as well as the opportunity to progress professionally.” CLC World’s contribution to the local economy and employment has been recently recognised by Mijas City Council, as well as the Red Cross for its recruitment policies and its corporate social responsibility through its charitable organisation, Fundación CLC World.
