A MAN’S body has been found in the toilets of a health centre in Spain after it lay undiscovered for a weekend.
The corpse of the man, aged about 50, was found in the Palleter medical centre in Castellon de la Plana according to the health authorities who have opened an investigation.
According to reports, the man was treated at the health centre on Saturday, February 9 in the morning and, after medical evaluation, he was taken by ambulance to the General University Hospital of Castellon.
He was later discharged but it is believed the man then returned on his own to the health centre and, without alerting the reception desk, gone to the toilets.
His lifeless body was found by cleaners on Monday morning.
National Police officers are now investigating the incident while awaiting the results of an autopsy to confirm the cause of death.
