Junior football team trainer arrested in child pornography raids in Spain

POLICE in Spain have arrested eight people aged between 21 and 66-year-old for allegedly exchanging child pornography through the Internet.

National Police officers made arrests in Segovia, Sevilla, Guipuzcoa, Madrid, Zaragoza and Malaga and a large amount of computer material was seized.

In Sevilla, a 21-year-old juvenile boys football team trainer was among those arrested.

Police said another man had served time in prison and, by mistake, sent pornographic files to the people who monitored his restraining order against his former partner.

A 25-year-old man was arrested in Madrid who it is claimed shared videos of girls between the ages of ten and twelve via several instant messaging channels and Internet chats.

The investigation began after Spanish police were tipped off by colleagues in the United States and also involved Europol.
