INTERNET providers fitted just under 200,000 fibre connections to Spanish households last November, according to new figures.
The increase brings the number of homes with an active internet connection to 8.4 million.
Of connections across Spain, 46.5 per cent belong to Spanish communications giant Telefonica, who installed 6,700 lines last November. According to the figures released by Spain’s markets regulator, the CNMC, company Masmovil fitted the most connections in November, as it had for the previous two years.
The retailer added 50,800 lines, followed by Vodafone with 6,500, and Orange at 2,500.
