NATIONAL POLICE officers have arrested a 30-year-old Frenchman in Mijas wanted on a European Arrest Warrant in connection with drugs smuggling.
Police sources said the man, originally from Orleans but living in Mijas, had been sentenced to almost 10 years in prison after being found guilty of drugs trafficking.
The man has also been detained in connection with the assault of police officers and for allegedly falsifying official documents.
