A STUDY has suggested the price of airline tickets in Spain will remain stable in 2019.
A report by the American Express Global Business Travel consultancy claimed growth in demand coupled with an excess capacity of seats will keep prices steady.
The ‘Air Monitor 2019’ study said only business class fares might suffer a slight increase due to demand for seats exceeding airline capacity.
Despite the economic and political instability of Brexit, the rise in low-cost airlines, particularly in Europe and Pacific Asia, has helped kerb price hikes, according to the report.
This growth in competition has led experts to believe any fare increases in 2019 will be minor.
