A 41-year-old, woman’s body was found by the National Police yesterday (Tuesday) inside her home in the Alameda de Capuchinos, Malaga.
The corpse was found at 5:40pm after a call from the woman’s circle of acquaintances who had been trying to contact her for several days.
After members of the Royal Fire Department of Malaga failed to receive an answer when knocking on the woman’s door, they entered her home through the window.
The body was then found inside the home.
Although no signs of criminal actions or third-party intervention has been detected so far, the police are not ruling out any options until the official autopsy results are received.
The investigation has been placed in hands of the Judicial and Scientific Police of the Provincial Police Station.
The autopsy will be carried out by the Institute of Legal Medicine (IML).
Neighbours explained that the woman was from Granada and, apparently, had reduced mobility.
